American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of cath lab experience and a VA or compact RN license in hand.
Job Details
• Pediatric Cath Lab unit within a children's hospital setting,
• Low-volume unit performing approximately 140 cases per year,
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• Role includes circulating duties with options to monitor or scrub depending on skill set,
• Uses Epic for charting and GE Mac Lab equipment,
• Claris experience preferred for EP procedures but not required,
• Call requirements starting at 2 shifts per week with gradual increases based on lab needs,
• Candidates will float within scope if needed,
Job Requirements
• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration,
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required, including pediatric cath experience,
• EP experience preferred but not required,
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS,
• Epic charting experience required,
• GE Mac Lab experience required,
• Previous charge nurse experience required,
• BSN preferred,
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (diploma, Associate's, or BSN accepted),
• 2 professional references required,
Additional Information
• Responsibilities include circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing for pediatric cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures,
• Facility maintains a natural nail policy,
• Facility is a smoke and tobacco free workplace,
• All candidates will be assigned non-billable orientation modules to be completed by the Friday of orientation week,
• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius rules,
• Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from the facility for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler,
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
