Mobile Phlebotomist

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Premier Medical Lab - NJ

Are you a Certified Phlebotomist looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? Look no further! Our leading medical lab is seeking reliable and experienced mobile phlebotomists to join our team. Must be able to start work at 3-4 am.

About the Role

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples as requested by assisted livings. You will research test information, confirm and verify all written and electronic orders, and organize and process requisition forms. Additionally, you will maintain supplies, keep the Phlebotomy work area neat and clean, and maintain a specimen log to ensure all results have been received by the physician in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Draw blood samples as requested by assisted livings

  • Research test information, confirm and verify all written and electronic orders

  • Organize and process requisition forms

  • Maintain supplies

  • Keep Phlebotomy work area neat, clean, and well-stocked

  • Maintain a specimen log to ensure all results have been received by the physician in a timely fashion

  • Participate in a on-call rotation outside of working hours

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Completed Phlebotomy course with certificate

  • At least 1-year experience as a Phlebotomist

Job Details

  • Part-time schedule: Monday to Friday, must be able to start at 3-4 am.

  • Hourly rate: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

  • Travel requirement: On the road, travel is required
