Job Type: Full-Time, Remote with Extensive travel (80-90%)
Schedule: Typically, 11 Days On / 4 Days Off
Reports to: Learning and Development Manager
Base salary: $75,000 + Bonus Eligibility
What You'll DoLead Community Operations
  • Serve as the interim operational leader at student housing communities nationwide.
  • Quickly assess property operations, team performance, and business needs to implement solutions.
  • Partner closely with Regional Managers and property teams to execute business objectives and operational strategies.
  • Ensure communities consistently meet Yugo standards for resident experience, asset maintenance, and operational excellence.
Develop and Coach Teams
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing onsite teams.
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance development of property staff.
  • Provide leadership during transitions and periods of organizational change.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountability-driven culture.
Drive Leasing, Marketing & Resident Experience
  • Execute effective leasing and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Train teams on Yugo leasing and marketing best practices.
  • Monitor resident satisfaction and support successful residence life programming.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, guarantors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Manage Financial Performance
  • Develop and oversee annual operating budgets and property business plans.
  • Analyze financial performance, prepare variance reports, and implement revenue-enhancement strategies.
  • Oversee rent collections, account reconciliations, and accounts payable processes.
  • Support cash management initiatives that drive NOI and asset value.
Protect and Enhance Assets
  • Ensure communities are maintained to Yugo's operational and brand standards.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs, safety inspections, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead annual turn planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with clients and corporate teams on capital improvement projects.
Support Operational Excellence
  • Serve as a trainer and operational resource to ensure consistency across the portfolio.
  • Reinforce Yugo policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Meet critical deadlines and support teams in achieving operational goals.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of property management experience in residential rental housing.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (80-90%) nationwide.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently, including extended assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Student housing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading teams through operational transitions, new acquisitions, or management changes.
  • Experience with RealPage or comparable property management software.
