  • Number of Beds - 504
  • Number of Staff – 65 in Laboratory
  • Type of staff:
    • Day Shift – 2 supervisors, 6 technologists, 3 lab assistants
    • Evening Shift – 3 technologists, 2 lab assistants
    • Night Shift – 3 technologists, 2 lab assistants
  • Patient Ratios – NA
  • Type of equipment – Standard laboratory instrumentation, primary Siemens and Sysmex. Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Micro
  • EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
  • Minimum 6 months of current acute care Med Tech hospital experience
  • Must be certified technologist, prefer MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP)
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
  • Blood Bank experience
  • HCA/Prior Meditech experience

  • Analytic testing using laboratory instrumentation, review and release results
