Shift: Days (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel GI/Endoscopy Technician to join a busy endoscopy department. The ideal candidate will assist physicians and nurses during gastrointestinal procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile equipment, and supporting efficient workflow throughout the procedure day.

This role requires experience assisting with GI procedures, handling endoscopes, and maintaining a clean and organized procedural environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and nurses during GI/endoscopy procedures.
  • Position patients safely for procedures.
  • Prepare procedure rooms before cases and clean up afterward.
  • Set up, pre-clean, transport, and process endoscopes according to infection control standards.
  • Collect and handle specimens accurately.
  • Restock procedure rooms and supplies.
  • Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention protocols.

  • Minimum 1 year of recent GI/Endoscopy Technician experience
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC) Certification
  • Current CRCST (HSPA) Certification
  • Experience assisting with GI procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies
