Key responsibilities

  • Research and recommend restaurants, experiences, events, and places in New York and other destinations for members.

  • Assist members with planning and arranging travel, including flights, hotels, and experiences to create tailored trips.

  • Manage and fulfill lifestyle requests from start to finish, ensuring personalized and memorable experiences.

Job description

Welcome to Ten Lifestyle Group!

Do you know New York’s best restaurants, hottest new openings, must-see shows and the best things happening across the city? Are you the person friends turn to when they need the perfect weekend away, a last-minute reservation or an idea for something different to do?

At Ten, we help our members make more of their time. From finding the perfect restaurant for a birthday dinner to planning a spontaneous city break, securing sought-after tickets or recommending an experience they wouldn’t have discovered themselves, you’ll turn everyday requests into memorable experiences.

We’re partnering with one of the world’s most valuable hospitality brands to launch an exciting new direct-to-consumer travel and lifestyle service for dynamic, experience-led individuals and their loved ones. We’re looking for someone who is quick, creative and digitally confident, with a natural feel for what our members want to do, see and experience – and the ability to find the right recommendations quickly and communicate them in a way that feels personal, relevant and effortless.

This role is based onsite in our New York office, so a strong understanding of the city and its dining, entertainment, culture and lifestyle scene is essential. Our members’ interests won’t stop at the city limits, though – you’ll also need to know, or be curious about, the destinations and experiences they’ll want to enjoy, from weekend escapes to travel further afield.

Your Role

  • Make it personal: Get to know what our members like and provide recommendations that feel genuinely tailored to them.
  • Bring New York (and elsewhere) to life: Use your knowledge of the city to recommend great restaurants, experiences, events and places worth knowing about. Rest assured that you’ll also have access to our amazing resources.
  • Create memorable experiences: Help with everything from dining and entertainment to travel, gifts, celebrations and those harder-to-solve lifestyle requests.
  • Plan great trips: Support members with travel requests, researching and arranging flights, hotels and experiences to create trips that fit what they are looking for.
  • Think creatively: Go beyond the obvious answer. Find interesting options and solutions that make members feel we really understood their request.
  • Move quickly: Work across multiple requests and digital tools, researching efficiently and getting the right options back to members without compromising on quality.
  • Communicate brilliantly: Write clear, engaging and polished responses that are warm, natural and easy to understand.
  • Own the experience: Manage requests from start to finish, keeping members updated and making sure nothing gets lost along the way.
  • Build connections: Work with our global network of restaurants, hotels, travel partners and lifestyle suppliers to unlock great experiences for our members.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience organizing things for busy people, hospitality, travel, lifestyle, concierge or another fast-paced service environment.
  • You know New York – where to eat, what’s opening, what’s worth doing and where you would send someone looking for something special.
  • You have excellent written English and can communicate with personality, confidence and attention to detail.
  • You understand great customer service and instinctively think about what would make an experience better for the person you are helping.
  • You’re fast and resourceful – comfortable researching, comparing options and navigating multiple systems to find the right answer quickly.
  • Strong working knowledge of WhatsApp and other messaging apps to resolve customer inquiries quickly, efficiently, and with a high satisfaction rate.
  • You’re creative and curious, with an interest in travel, dining, entertainment, culture and what’s happening in the city.
  • You’re comfortable juggling several requests at once and know how to prioritize when things get busy.
  • You take ownership. If the obvious answer isn’t available, you keep looking for another solution.
  • You’re confident using digital tools and web-based systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Travel booking or GDS experience such as Amadeus or Sabre is an advantage, but not essential.

Benefits

Why Choose Ten Lifestyle Group?

At Ten, no two requests – or days – are exactly the same. You’ll be part of a global team with access to an incredible network of restaurants, hotels, experiences and lifestyle partners, while developing expertise that can take your career in a number of directions.

You’ll also receive:

    • Salary $47,800-62,400/annum + quarterly performance bonuses, with a $5,000 annual target and uncapped earning potential for those who exceed their goals
    • Full benefits: Health, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) match and generous PTO
    • NYC perks: Commuter benefits and lifestyle discounts
    • Career growth: World-class training, mentorship and opportunities to progress within a global lifestyle business
    • Culture & community: Join a Certified B Corp committed to diversity, inclusion and positive impact
    • Recognition & rewards: Regular appraisals and recognition programmes celebrating outstanding performance

If you’re someone who knows what’s happening in New York, loves discovering great places and experiences, writes brilliantly and gets a buzz from finding exactly the right solution for someone, we’d love to hear from you.
