This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with our dynamic team of clinicians, case managers, and administrative staff. The outpatient office serves as a hub for team collaboration and administrative support, bridging the gap between remote work and in-person client engagement when necessary.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, strengths, and areas for growth, guiding the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.
• Document and maintain accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all information is current and accessible.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, equipping clients with the tools and strategies to manage acute emotional and psychological distress.
• Engage in professional development activities, including attending workshops and supervision sessions to enhance therapeutic techniques.

The licensed counselor will work with a varied client base that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families of diverse backgrounds, many of whom have experienced trauma, mental illness, or emotional distress. This role particularly focuses on those seeking help for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges, allowing the counselor to utilize trauma-informed approaches effectively.

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active LPCC license in the state of California, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards of practice.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in clinical counseling, demonstrating proficiency in individual and group therapy.
• Strong understanding of ethical considerations and legal issues pertaining to mental health counseling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working with trauma-affected populations, including veterans, domestic violence survivors, and those with complex PTSD.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and digital counseling tools to support remote therapy delivery.
• Training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR is desirable.
