Job Summary and Qualifications

In partnership with the Trauma Medical Director and Hospital Administration, the Trauma Director is responsible for the management of trauma care at RGRH Level III trauma facility from ED admission and across the continuum of care until final disposition. Will maintain all requirements for trauma re-designation. Will actively participate in the trauma Performance Improvement (PI) program, public injury prevention and trauma education, and hospital-based trauma orientation and continuing education.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • (RN) Registered Nurse license required
  • Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree required
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt
  • Two (2) years of experience in Emergency Department and/or Critical Care required.
