Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program focused on supporting the mental health needs of students in North Greece, New York. This role is structured to be primarily remote, providing the flexibility needed to deliver quality care to students while maintaining close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will engage in a blend of individual and group therapy sessions structured to align with school schedules, typically operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends may be required due to the needs of our students, along with on-call availability during mental health emergencies.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, identifying their specific emotional and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on enhancing emotional well-being and successful integration within the school environment.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches suited for ASD, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma recovery.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies among students.
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech and occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for students.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention in mental health emergencies and support staff during critical incidents affecting student welfare.
• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring transparency and accountability in all services provided.
• Engage in team meetings and staff development activities, contributing to collective best practices and continuous improvement.

Your focus will primarily be on students with various special needs, encompassing a wide range of mental health challenges that require tailored interventions and supportive strategies. Your work will empower these students to navigate their educational experiences successfully and equip them with the tools necessary for emotional and social development.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW-R licensure in the state of New York.
• A solid foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed practices.
• Proficiency in performing mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and offering therapy.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills essential for fostering trust and collaboration with students and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to handle crises with poise while maintaining professional boundaries and ethical integrity.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry best practices and regulations.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in school-based mental health settings.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective group therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with special education regulations and practices.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
