The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center, located in Reno, Nevada, is a compassionate outpatient facility that focuses on the mental health needs of trauma survivors. This role operates within a remote outpatient office setting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining connectedness with a multidisciplinary team. While most interactions will be virtual, team meetings and case consultations may be conducted via telehealth platforms to facilitate collaboration and community among staff. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating the trauma history of patients to determine tailored treatment strategies.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that are centered on trauma recovery, personal resilience, and overall well-being.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, offering a supportive space for patients to explore their feelings, develop coping mechanisms, and encourage healing.
• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your ability to provide immediate assistance as required.
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, equipping them with tools and resources for effective coping.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth in trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Keeping abreast of the latest research and practices in the field of trauma therapy to enhance your clinical skills and therapeutic effectiveness.

You will work primarily with individuals and families impacted by trauma, which may include children, adolescents, and adults. To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based therapies, particularly for PTSD and complex trauma.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.
• Demonstrated experience with trauma-focused therapies and intervention strategies.
• The ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and effectively manage urgencies as they arise.
• A strong commitment to professional development and learning in the field of trauma recovery.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
