Small enough to care but big enough to get the job done. Our goal is to be the best trash service in the area, from residential pick up to commercial and roll-off dumpsters, we go the extra mile. Our drivers are committed to going above and beyond for our customers.

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a driver with a CDL (B). You are responsible for safely operating a collection truck, by providing timely, attentive and total waste removal services for our customers. You are also responsible for ensuring your vehicle is in compliance with The Trash Man’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensuring that all The Trash Man’s state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport materials to designated locations

- Load and unload cargo using heavy equipment as needed

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck and report any issues or malfunctions

- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road

- Plan and execute routes in a safe and timely manner.

- Maintain accurate records of routes and other relevant information with provided software and materials.

-Identify acceptable waste removal allowance (volume/type of material) per Company's regulations

-Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

-Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

-Maintain positive relationships with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all established routes are serviced professionally and efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS:

-21 years of age

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL B-can be Automatic only) with a clean driving record

- Previous experience in commercial driving or related field preferred

- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus

- Experience with trash trucks and/or dump trucks is desirable

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
