Job description

Warehouse Cinemas is a new movie theater company dedicated to creating moments worth remembering for our guests. Independently owned and operated, we offer first-run films, luxury recliners, and exceptional picture and sound in every auditorium. The spacious Tap Room includes a full bar with 28+ taps of self-serve craft beer, a quick-serve concession stand with classic and new food favorites, and plenty of hangout areas for making memories with friends pre- and post-movie.
Floor Team Members serve guests in a variety of roles, including usher, customer liaison, cashier, and kitchen. As a member of our floor team, you will support our leadership and management staff in the day-to-day operations of the cinema. In any given shift, Floor Team Members may assist guests at our ticket kiosks, work at the concession stand, clean auditoriums between showtimes, and direct guests to their seats.

Duties include:
  • Greet and thank guests in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Check guest tickets and direct them to the correct auditorium and seats
  • Assist guests with ticket kiosks and provide guidance
  • Answer guest questions thoroughly, and proactively anticipate needs
  • Manage guest concerns or confusion related to tickets, showtimes, etc., escalating complex issues to leadership when necessary
  • Provide superior customer service with a positive attitude, making eye contact, smiling, and going above and beyond to assist guests
  • Assist guests by answering questions thoroughly and finding opportunities to "Save the Day" during every shift
  • Utilize the POS system to enter guest orders accurately and efficiently
  • Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment honestly and efficiently
  • Operate, monitor, and clean all concessions equipment, including but not limited to popcorn poppers, slushie machines, and drink taps
  • Conduct regular lobby, auditorium, and bathroom checks to maintain cleanliness and safety
  • Enforce the guest code of conduct, including policies on cell phone use, age policy, and other theater rules
  • Work efficiently across all roles, including concessions, greeter, usher, tap-wall, bar back, kitchen, cleaning, and other assignments depending on shift
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations, kitchen, and facility areas throughout shifts
  • Complete tasks thoroughly according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and management direction
  • Execute opening and closing checklists accurately and on time
  • Support and collaborate with team members, assisting where needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs and management direction
  • Respond to emergency situations in accordance with company safety procedures, using critical thinking and sound judgment

Requirements:
  • Able to work at our facility in Hagerstown, MD
  • Minimum age requirement: Age 16 or over
  • Open availability strongly preferred with the ability to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required. Currently seeking candidates with open availability.
  • Able to speak English fluently. Ability to speak in Spanish fluently, or converse in American Sign Language (ASL), a plus.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Able to ascend and descend using a ladder
  • Able to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods
  • Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, often in a repetitive manner throughout the shift
