Job description

Position Summary:
Under general direction, this role is responsible for researching, sourcing, coordinating, analyzing, and negotiating international pricing. The position prepares comprehensive routing and pricing options for RFQs (Requests for Quotation), volume matrices, and one-time quote requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Researches, negotiates, and gathers pricing data for international and domestic contracts.
  • Prioritizes and completes deadline-driven RFPs and volume-rate projects.
  • Solicits, negotiates, analyzes, and converts rates from agents, transportation providers, and vendors for use in the pricing system.
  • Responds to Requests for Quotes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including Federal Maritime Commission rules and regulations.
  • Develops, prepares, and maintains various management reports.
  • Provides guidance and support to Sales and Operations teams to ensure effective pricing solutions and agreements.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and strict compliance with international laws and regulations.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education, License or Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.

Experience:
  • 3-5 years' experience in international transportation
