GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages retail sales of area or establishment. Responsible for the revenue generation for key accounts within a geographic area or market, all branding responsibilities including advertising, marketing programs, pricing strategies and distribution models. Also responsible for the inbound/outbound transportation of goods and materials.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities withing independent retail outlets, small distributors and foodservice restaurants focus on BBQ products.
  2. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, increasing volume, and product mix.
  3. Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
  4. Increase product penetration and visibility across assigned territory.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, chefs, buyers, retail operators.
  6. Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and new product integration discussions with clients.
  7. Negotiate contracts in alignment with company guidelines.
  8. Provide accurate and timely volume forecast for import products and plant products.
  9. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  10. Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.

Education and/or Experience
Degree: Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)
Experience: 2-5 years of sales experience.
Language / Skills
Bilingual- Spanish and English written & spoken
  • Proven track record in business development and account management
  • Strong knowledge of the local landscape
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationships-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory

Requirements:
  • Must be able to travel to costumer locations through Northern Puerto Rico.
