HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:

Regional Service Provider Management:

  • Monitor the performance of Transport Service Providers (3PLs/Integrators) within the region. You will conduct performance reviews to ensure local adherence to global SLAs, costs, and quality standards, acting as the "boots on the ground" for our global carrier strategy.

Operational Performance & Governance:

  • You oversee the high-level execution of shipments originating from or destined for our EMEA sites. You act not as a dispatcher, but as the escalation point and controller, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., EU customs, Brexit requirements).

Customer & Stakeholder Management:

  • You act as the dedicated Transport Partner for regional Sales, Customer Order Desk, and Warehouse Operations teams in the US locations. You translate their specific local needs into logistics solutions while ensuring alignment with global governance.

Specialized Logistics Solutions:

  • You serve as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex flows, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and project cargo, ensuring local operational hurdles are overcome swiftly.

Project Representation:

  • You represent the region in global transport projects. You ensure that regional requirements are considered in global network designs and actively share best practices with your counterparts in the Europe and Asia-Pacific.

ABOUT YOU:

Equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (OR an equivalent combination of education and experience) and paired with professional experience ideally as a Transportation Manager, we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

  • 3-5 years of experience in transportation management, freight forwarding, or logistics management

  • CPL (Certified Logistics Professional) and CTL (Certified in Transportation and Logistics) preferred but not required

  • Proven track record within the transportation environment

  • Project Management Expertise and used to work with external service providers

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex logistics issues to non-logistics stakeholders. communication and stakeholder management skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Onsite or remote: 80 % onsite / 20% remote

  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings: 100%

  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. 100%

  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. 100%

  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. 100% - office equipment

  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. 100%

  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs100%

  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. 100%

  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.100%

  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.100%

  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor. 100%

  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. 10%

  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. 100%

  • Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site

  • Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Citizenship:

  • Authorized to Work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Pay range based on the required profile: $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
