Department/Specialty: Paramedic, Transport only, No 911

Schedule: Days | Full Time | 3 shifts per week 11:00am - 11:00pm

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Lead life-saving interventions and patient stabilization during transit, working in close sync with physicians to ensure a seamless continuum of care from bedside to bedside.

  • Execute specialized transport protocols with precision, monitoring patient vitals and treatment responses to guarantee safety and comfort throughout the journey.

  • Communicate critical health updates and care transitions to the receiving medical team, ensuring that every patient's clinical story is told accurately for better recovery outcomes.

  • Support patients and their families by explaining complex treatments in clear, comforting language, reducing anxiety during high-stress transitions.

  • Maintain high-performance medical equipment and transport environments to ensure a fail-safe setting for the team and the patients you serve.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Paramedic credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Drivers License credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
