Job description

Job Description Summary
The Bentley University Department of English & Media Studies seeks applicants for future adjunct positions to teach effective speaking. A record of excellent teaching at the college level is essential.
Preference will be given to candidates with an appropriate terminal degree and facility in the use of information technology in the classroom.
Please note: There are no immediate positions available at this moment, but when a position becomes available we will actively source candidates from this applicant pool.
Pay Transparency:

In alignment with the Massachusetts Pay Transparency Act and our commitment to equity and transparency, we're sharing the salary grade range for this role.
Salary Range:
Compensation for adjunct faculty is governed by the collective bargaining agreement between Bentley University and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 509.
For the 2025-26 academic year, adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $7,225.00 per course.
Courses with labs and other four-credit courses shall will be compensated at a higher minimum rate of $9,333.00 per course.
