Job Title: Japanese- English Translator
Job Description
We are seeking a Japanese-English bilingual administrative support contractor to provide comprehensive support to Japanese staff, expatriates, and visiting executives. This role involves day-to-day administrative, communication, coordination, translation, and interpretation support. The position also assists with selected officer-related assignments and general administrative tasks based on business needs. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, highly organized, culturally aware, and able to communicate professionally in both Japanese and English. This position requires flexibility, discretion, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support for Japanese team members, expatriates, and visiting executives.
  • Support Japanese expatriates and their families with general coordination related to working and living in the United States.
  • Assist with onboarding, relocation, and general coordination for Japanese expatriates and their families.
  • Provide Japanese-English interpretation support for meetings, discussions, plant activities, administrative matters, and other business-related situations.
  • Provide Japanese-English translation support for documents, communications, presentations, and other materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers as needed.
  • Support selected officer-related assignments, including research, coordination, document preparation, follow-up, and other special projects.
  • Provide general administrative support, including preparing documents, organizing information, tracking open items, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Help improve standard work, FAQs, manuals, and support processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

Pay and Benefits
