Join Walmart as a Manager, Business Development – International Marketplace, where you’ll help high-potential Marketplace Sellers grow across borders and reach millions of customers. You’ll make an impact by:
  • Own and execute a category-level seller acquisition strategy to help strategic sellers successfully launch and scale in Mexico.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of high-priority seller prospects, using data-driven insights, market intelligence, and partner networks to prioritize outreach.
  • Source, pitch, negotiate, and close high-impact seller opportunities that support cross-border marketplace growth.
  • Own the seller journey from initial pitch through onboarding and go-to-market planning, ensuring a seamless, scalable, and high-impact launch experience.
  • Deliver tailored value propositions that clearly articulate Walmart Marketplace’s cross-border capabilities, including logistics, advertising, localization, and other seller solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to sellers, helping them navigate cross-border complexity and unlock new customer segments in Mexico’s eCommerce market.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Account Management, Fulfillment, Marketing, Product, Site Operations, Partner Support, and Channel Partners to address seller needs, regional nuances, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across prospective seller accounts to build business plans that exceed expectations.
  • Champion Walmart Marketplace’s platform and evolving capabilities to prospective sellers, driving awareness and adoption of new seller services.
  • Represent Walmart Marketplace at trade shows and external events to generate new seller and partner opportunities.
  • Share seller feedback, market insights, and voice-of-seller themes through Weekly Business Reviews, sales proposals, and internal forums.
  • Prepare and review seller-facing proposals and presentations for business impact, accuracy, and alignment with ethical, technical, and legal standards.
  • Explore, test, and scale new partnerships or services that create shared value for sellers, customers, and Walmart.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related filed and 4 years’ experience in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Affiliate Sales, Omni-Channel Merchandising or Business Management, Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.
  • Deep experience leading and completing cross-functional projects, influencing internal and external stakeholders, and bootstrapping when and where needed.
  • Practical proficiency using leading AI tools and services to improve productivity, research markets and sellers, synthesize information, draft communications, analyze data, and accelerate business development workflows.
  • Curiosity and willingness to work across international time zones and collaborate comfortably with different cultures and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to travel internationally or domestically to and from multiple facilities or worksites requiring consecutive overnight stays.
  • Effectively presents information to small or large groups and individuals.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
