While primarily working standard business hours, occasional evenings and weekends may be requested to accommodate the needs of clients involved in our school-based programs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges to develop targeted intervention strategies.
• Craft personalized service plans that encompass individual goals, interventions, and progress monitoring, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Provide ongoing counseling and support to individuals and families, offering guidance through various life transitions and challenges.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques, perform risk assessments, and create safety plans for clients in immediate distress.
• Collaborate with educational institutions and community organizations to coordinate services, advocate for access to resources, and build a supportive network for clients.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness of available services and foster relationships with potential partners and stakeholders.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance collaborative practice.

The primary clientele comprises students and their families who face various life challenges, including those related to mental health, socioeconomic hardships, and systemic barriers. The LCSW will work closely with educational professionals to identify students in need and design effective interventions to alleviate issues such as anxiety, behavior problems, and academic difficulties. By integrating school resources and mental health services, our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment for learning and personal growth.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, qualifying for clinical practice.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.
• A solid understanding of trauma-informed care principles, demonstrating a compassionate and client-focused approach.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and telehealth technology for service delivery.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on cultural competence and the ability to connect with diverse populations.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing community-based programs.
