Description - Associate-Licensed Mental Health Therapist Location: Scottsdale, AZ License: LAC, LAMFT, LMSW or other qualifying Arizona associate-level behavioral health licenseAnew Treatment Center is seeking an Associate-Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This position is designed for an associate-level clinician who is ready to strengthen their clinical skills, gain meaningful experience with complex client presentations, and continue progressing toward independent licensure within a supportive treatment environment. Anew provides residential behavioral health treatment and transitional care services for adults experiencing complex mental health and co-occurring conditions. Our therapists provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy while working closely with experienced clinicians and the broader treatment team.

You will develop experience across individual, family, and group therapy; assessment and treatment planning; crisis intervention; discharge planning; and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Because treatment extends beyond the therapy office, you will also participate in the therapeutic milieu and gain experience understanding how clinical interventions translate into clients' everyday relationships, behaviors, and recovery.

At Anew, Associate Therapists: Receive regular clinical supervision from qualified independently licensed clinicians.

Participate in weekly individual supervision as directed by licensure requirements and the Clinical Director.

Receive ongoing case consultation, feedback, and professional development.

Gain experience working with complex mental health and co-occurring presentations.

Develop competencies across individual, family, and group treatment.

Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary treatment team.

Are supported in progressing toward independent clinical licensure.

What You'll DoProvide individual, family, and group psychotherapy under appropriate clinical supervision.

Manage a clinical caseload as determined by the Clinical Director.

Conduct and participate in clinical assessments and reassessments within your scope of practice.

Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of individualized treatment plans.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team regarding client progress, clinical needs, risk concerns, and discharge planning.

Communicate with outside treatment providers when clinically indicated.

Maintain an active presence within the therapeutic milieu and help address emerging client needs and dynamics.

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and admission and discharge documentation.

Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, case consultation, trainings, and staff meetings.

Maintain professional and ethical standards related to boundaries, confidentiality, HIPAA, and clinical practice.

Provide culturally responsive care and demonstrate respect for the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients and colleagues.

QualificationsCurrent Arizona associate-level behavioral health license in good standing, such as LAC, LAMFT, or LMSW, or other qualifying license/credential appropriate to the position.

Master's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field appropriate to licensure.

Commitment to continued professional development and progression toward independent licensure.

Clinical experience working with individuals with mental health conditions preferred.

Residential behavioral health experience preferred, but not required.

Experience or interest in working with complex mental health and co-occurring conditions.

Strong communication, documentation, organization, and collaboration skills. Valid driver's license in good standing and current auto insurance.

Successful completion of drug screening and comprehensive background check.
