Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day (Position Overview)
As a Commercial Project Manager for Grid Technologies, you will play a key role in supporting the Factory Expansion project in Pearl, Mississippi by providing financial oversight, commercial governance, and strategic project support throughout the project lifecycle. Your day may include developing financial models, monitoring project budgets and cash flow, preparing executive financial reports, conducting scenario and risk analysis, and partnering closely with the Project Manager to support business-critical decisions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, procurement, engineering, and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and successful project execution. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence the financial performance and strategic direction of a major infrastructure and manufacturing expansion initiative.
How You'll Make an Impact (Responsibilities)
  • Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs, scenario analyses, and business cases to evaluate project feasibility, profitability, financial risks, and evolving business conditions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor and control project financial performance including CAPEX, OPEX, cash flow, liquidity, purchase orders, budgeting, forecasting, and overall commercial compliance
  • Prepare executive financial reports, commercial updates, forecasts, and project performance summaries to support strategic decision-making, project reviews, and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to provide commercial leadership across all project phases while proactively identifying financial risks, tracking project progress, and supporting mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and effective project execution
  • Support financial governance, internal controls, audit activities, and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and project management guidelines

What You Bring (Requirements)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management, financial analysis, project controlling, business controlling, or a related finance role supporting complex industrial, infrastructure, energy, or manufacturing projects
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial performance indicators including NPV, IRR, EBITDA, and Payback analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, advanced Excel modeling, and data visualization/reporting tools including Power BI or Tableau, with the ability to independently manage complex financial analyses and reporting activities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and project priorities in a fast-paced environment
