Purpose of Position

The Director, Enterprise Innovation & Launch is responsible for accelerating SSI’s ability to deliver solutions from concept to market adoption with speed, consistency, and measurable impact. This role plays a critical part in establishing the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), enabling rapid innovation, and ensuring consistent, coordinated, and high‑quality communication across the client lifecycle.

The Director establishes the governance and operating discipline required to scale—defining cross‑functional processes, aligning stakeholders, and driving accountability across the organization. Operating in a hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves capacity, this individual drives execution through influence, building alignment, surfacing risks, and delivering results across teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of solution launches from concept through GA and early stabilization, ensuring alignment to business and client outcomes
  • Establish ownership, timelines, and deliverables across cross‑functional teams, including downstream implementation and support readiness
  • Design and manage beta and early release programs to validate readiness, capture feedback, and ensure successful transition to scale
  • Ensure all‑company readiness and post‑launch execution alignment, aligning Sales, Marketing, Client Relations, Support, and Professional Services to deliver consistent implementation, adoption, support, and operational follow‑through
2. Launch Governance & Accountability
  • Define and enforce a standardized, phase‑gated launch framework (tollgates, entry/exit criteria, success measures)
  • Track progress, identify risks, and drive accountability to maintain momentum, resolving cross‑functional dependencies and execution trade‑offs
  • Align with enterprise prioritization, SDLC, and DevOps release schedules; maintain visibility through ADO, Aha!, or similar tools
3. Client Lifecycle & Go‑to‑Market Communication Coordination
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment on communication strategy, timing, and delivery ensuring a cohesive client experience across the lifecycle
  • Coordinate go‑to‑market, launch, and ongoing client communication across Marketing, Solution Management, Engineering/DevOps, and Client Relations
  • Establish and enforce standardized communication practices and coordination points across the lifecycle, reducing fragmentation and ensuring consistency across teams
4. Data, Metrics & Performance Visibility
  • Partner with Solution Management and data teams to advance and evolve client‑facing reporting and analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment to market needs and strategic differentiation
  • Define and track KPIs for launch success and client impact (e.g., on‑time GA, adoption, quality, measurable outcomes)
  • Develop reporting to provide visibility into launch readiness, execution risks, post‑launch performance, and ongoing solution value
5. Innovation & Rapid Proof of Concept (POC) Enablement
  • Establish and lead a lean, cross‑functional POC capability to rapidly test new concepts and opportunities
  • Define intake, prioritization, and success criteria to support rapid experimentation, informed go/no‑go decisions
  • Transition validated POCs into the formal launch pipeline for scaled delivery under established launch governance
6. Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) Activation
  • Stand up Innovation & Launch capability, including governance, tollgates, and readiness model
  • Lead enterprise project coordination for priority initiatives, aligning to ETO governance (in partnership with leadership)
  • Establish cross‑functional operating rhythms, including execution cadences, escalation paths, and stakeholder alignment
  • Support the development of the broader ETO model, informing structure, role design, and scaling approach over time
  • May lead or coordinate adjacent ETO capabilities (e.g., enterprise project management and cross‑functional execution) until dedicated roles are established, ensuring aligned execution and continuity of priority initiatives
7. Continuous Improvement & Capability Build
  • Standardize launch and innovation practices across solutions to reduce variability and improve predictability, release velocity, and scalability across the organization
  • Evolve the Enterprise Launch & Innovation function to support SSI’s growth and strategic priorities

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required
  • Proven experience delivering solutions from concept through GA
  • Strong cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder coordination
  • Ability to drive outcomes through influence (not formal authority)

  • Experience in healthcare technology
  • Must be able to see clearly with or without corrective lenses and hear clearly with or without aids.
  • Must be able to use hands, fingers and wrists, repetitively, using a computer keyboard and other office equipment, regularly.
  • Must be able to proficiently speak, read and write in English.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management (RCM)
  • Familiarity with ADO, Aha!, or similar tools
  • Experience in interoperability, clearinghouse, or payments solutions
