TEMPORARY TALENT WORKFORCE:Specialist Manager, Talent Business Advisory

This is a temporary salaried opportunity to join Deloitte Services LP for a short-term assignment. 

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill our Specialist Manager, Talent Business Advisory (TBA) role between August 2026 and August 2027 for our GPS Customer TBA team.

Work you'll do

As a Specialist Manager, Talent Business Advisory on the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with business leaders to shape, execute, and advance talent strategies aligned to business priorities
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for talent-related initiatives, programs, and business needs
  • Advising leaders on talent matters that affect business performance, including workforce needs, organization priorities, and people implications
  • Collaborating with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Talent Services (TS) to deliver integrated talent solutions and market-informed practices
  • Using workforce and business data to identify trends, inform decisions, and support execution of strategic talent priorities
  • Coordinate appropriate actions, leveraging the support of the broader talent team, e.g. deployment, talent relations, performance management, etc.

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams

The Talent Business Advisor organization champions a "One Talent Team" through collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Talent Services (TS) to deliver integrated Talent services to support Business strategies and priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in human resources, talent advisory, human capital, or HR business partnering
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification
  • Experience supporting talent strategy in a professional services environment
  • Experience analyzing workforce, utilization, or business data to support decision-making
  • Experience advising business leaders on talent strategy, workforce matters, or employee-related matters

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84300 to $140600
