Job description

Transit Driver

SMTD is looking for both full time and part time transit drivers. Responsible for transportation of the general public in a safe manner. Duties include coordinating daily transportation schedules, insuring efficient route operation, performing inspections to insure safe and lawful operation of the bus, maintain paperwork, and making sure bus is clean at all times.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work all shifts
  • Good driving record
  • Above-average customer service skills
  • Must have or obtain class C CDL with passenger endorsement within 1 month of employment. SMTD will provide training to obtain CDL.
  • Background and criminal record along with drug test
