• Provide individualized therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients, utilizing effective assessment methods and therapeutic techniques.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records, complying with legal and ethical standards as mandated in the mental health field.

As a counselor at Azure Counseling Services, you will work with a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is vital in creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies that promote mental health and wellness.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• At least two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building rapport with diverse clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies to document client interactions and maintain records.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Experience utilizing different therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of clients.
