Their work typically involves coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring that transformation projects—such as digital upgrades, process improvements, or cultural shifts—are delivered on time and within budget. They work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, develop strategic plans, and monitor progress. Transformation Project Managers are essential for helping organizations adapt to new technologies, market demands, or business models.

How does a transformation project manager collaborate with cross-functional teams during large-scale change initiatives?

Job description

Overview:
Holley Performance Brands is seeking a Director, Transformation Management Office (TMO) to lead the company's enterprise ERP transformation and establish the operating discipline required to deliver complex, business-led change. This role will serve as the central owner of transformation execution, translating executive priorities into an integrated roadmap, clear governance, disciplined delivery, and measurable business outcomes.

The Director, TMO will lead the ERP transformation across business process, technology, data, change management, and adoption workstreams. The role will provide regular, fact-based updates to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), escalate risks with recommended actions, and ensure decisions are made at the right level with the right information.

The leader will also have people leadership responsibility for Project Managers and Business Analysts, building the standards, capabilities, and operating model for Holley's transformation delivery function. Following the ERP transformation, the Director, TMO will lead additional enterprise transformation initiatives, including M&A integration planning and execution, business process harmonization, and post-close value realization.

Key Responsibilities:

Transformation Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the enterprise ERP transformation from planning and design through build, testing, deployment, stabilization, and value realization.
  • Establish and operate the Transformation Management Office, including governance routines, delivery standards, decision rights, escalation paths, and executive reporting.
  • Translate the ELT vision into a practical transformation roadmap with milestones, dependencies, KPIs, business outcomes, and value realization targets.
  • Ensure the transformation remains business-led, not system-led, by aligning technology delivery to operating model, process, data, control, and customer experience objectives.

ERP Transformation Execution

  • Oversee integrated delivery across ERP workstreams, including process design, solution configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, training, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization.
  • Partner with business process owners to drive standardization, simplification, and adoption of future-state processes across functions and locations.
  • Maintain disciplined control of scope, schedule, budget, issues, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.
  • Partner with Finance and Internal Controls to ensure SOX, audit, security, and control requirements are designed into the transformation rather than bolted on at the end.
  • Hold system integrators, software partners, consultants, and internal teams accountable to defined deliverables, outcomes, quality standards, and contractual commitments.

Executive Governance & ELT Reporting

  • Prepare and deliver regular ELT updates that clearly communicate progress, risks, decisions needed, financial status, resource needs, and business readiness.
  • Lead steering committee and governance forums with clear agendas, crisp decision points, documented outcomes, and follow-through on actions.
  • Surface issues early and candidly, with recommended options, trade-offs, and business impacts.
  • Develop executive dashboards and scorecards that connect delivery milestones to business outcomes and value creation.

People Leadership & TMO Capability Building

  • Directly lead, coach, and develop Project Managers and Business Analysts assigned to transformation and enterprise initiatives.
  • Establish common standards for project delivery, business analysis, requirements management, RAID management, status reporting, change control, and benefits tracking.
  • Build a high-accountability delivery culture that balances urgency with discipline, transparency, and quality.
  • Partner with HR and IT leadership on hiring, performance management, career development, workforce planning, and capability development for the TMO team.

M&A Integration & Future Enterprise Transformation

  • After the ERP transformation, lead additional enterprise transformation initiatives, including M&A integration, business process harmonization, systems integration, and synergy realization.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for M&A integration planning, Day 1 readiness, functional integration, systems transition, risk management, and post-close value capture.
  • Coordinate cross-functional integration workstreams across IT, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, HR, Legal, and other functions as needed.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise transformation, ERP implementation, PMO/TMO, business operations, or large-scale technology-enabled change.
  • Proven success leading full lifecycle ERP implementations or major ERP transformations in complex, multi-site environments.
  • Experience building or leading a Transformation Management Office, Enterprise PMO, or similar enterprise delivery function.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage executive governance, steering committees, and ELT-level reporting with clarity and confidence.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including direct management of Project Managers, Business Analysts, or transformation delivery teams.
  • Experience managing large program budgets, resource plans, vendor relationships, SOWs, and system integrator performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex issues for executives while maintaining credibility with technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Infor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise ERP platforms.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, aftermarket, consumer products, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Public company experience, including SOX, audit, compliance, and internal control considerations.
  • Experience with WMS, EDI, data migration, master data governance, integration platforms, and enterprise reporting capabilities.
  • Experience leading M&A integration, business process integration, systems consolidation, or post-close transformation initiatives.
  • PMP, PgMP, Prosci, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications.

Leadership Profile

  • Business-first transformation leader who understands that ERP success is measured by operational outcomes, not just go-live dates.
  • Structured and disciplined operator who brings order to ambiguity and keeps teams focused on the critical path.
  • Direct, transparent communicator who raises issues early.
  • Strong people leader who develops talent, sets clear expectations, and creates accountability without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Comfortable operating in high-visibility, high-pressure environments with executive stakeholders.
  • Builds trust across executive, functional, technical, and frontline teams.
