The Job
The Human Resources Site Manager provides strategic and hands-on HR support, overseeing employee relations, talent management, compliance, and workforce development. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while aligning HR initiatives with operational goals.
The position leads safety training efforts, manages OSHA logs and reporting, and partners with operations to promote a safe, compliant, and engaged workplace. Responsibilities also include supporting HR policy implementation, maintaining employee records, coordinating training and vendor services, facilitating internal communications, and ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR representative on site, maintaining a strong presence at assigned locations and providing accessible support to employees and managers.
  • Ensure that all new data center hires are onboarded promptly and have the necessary tools to be successful in their roles.
  • Ensure that department milestones and goals are met and that budgets are adhered to.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance issues.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and company standards.
  • Assist with implementing and optimizing HR processes and procedures.
  • Handle employee concerns and relations issues as they are reported; conduct investigations and document accordingly.
  • Proactively monitor and evaluate the work environment in the data centers; provide suggestions for improvement as needed.
  • Assist with data center recruiting, including sourcing talent and interviewing.
  • Partner with external vendors and service providers when needed.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and maintain OSHA logs, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting.
  • Oversee workers' compensation claims, including coordination with carriers, case management, documentation, and return-to-work processes.
  • Monitor incident reporting systems, conduct follow-ups on injuries or safety events, and support root-cause analysis.
  • Track completion of required safety training, site audits, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience; field-based HR experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety training standards, and injury reporting processes.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
  • Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.

This is a full-time position. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some nights and weekends may be required.
