Our platform helps digitize and streamline the freight lifecycle, enabling greater efficiency, visibility, and communication across the transportation ecosystem.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior API Cloud Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and operating the integration platform that connects Transflo with customers, partners, and internal systems. This is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on cloud-native architecture, API development, security, automation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable integration solutions, leveraging AWS technologies, and driving AI-enabled engineering practices.

What You'll Do
  • Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs, Webhooks, and WebSocket integrations.
  • Architect cloud-native, event-driven solutions using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and CloudFront.
  • Establish API standards, integration best practices, and resilient design patterns to support enterprise-scale connectivity.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps while promoting DevSecOps best practices.
  • Enhance reliability through monitoring, observability, incident response, and performance optimization using CloudWatch and Datadog.
  • Partner across engineering, product, and platform teams to deliver high-impact integration solutions.
  • Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to architectural decision-making and technical strategy.
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of software engineering or cloud engineering experience, including significant experience building customer-facing systems.
  • Deep expertise in API design, cloud integrations, and AWS serverless technologies.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of modern security and authentication frameworks, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and API security best practices.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and operating production systems at scale.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or .NET/C#.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet technology is a plus, as are AWS certifications and familiarity with modern API management and containerized cloud environments.

Why Join Transflo?

At Transflo, you'll have the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges, influence the future of transportation technology, and work alongside a collaborative team committed to innovation, reliability, and customer success.
