Job description

As a Subsidiary Banking Associate in Global Corporate Banking (GCB) Subsidiary Banking - Hub/Network Hub, you will provide end-to-end coverage to multinational clients by virtually managing a portfolio of regional and in-country subsidiaries. You will coordinate closely with HQ relationship partners, bankers, product specialists, risk, onboarding/implementation, KYC, operations, and client service to originate, execute, and deepen relationships. You will act as a regional market and solutions resource, helping clients navigate local requirements and translating needs into opportunities across liquidity, payments/cash management, and other corporate banking solutions (as applicable by region). You will deliver a proactive, analytical, and client-centric coverage experience across geographies and time zones. This role is on-site five days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of multinational subsidiary clients and engage senior decision makers, including stakeholders located outside the covered region.
  • Identify growth opportunities through client research, needs assessment, and targeted engagement.
  • Size revenue opportunities and prepare pricing pro-formas; secure required approvals from senior managers and product partners.
  • Represent regional coverage in virtual client meetings in coordination with HQ relationship teams.
  • Partner with product specialists to deliver treasury, payments/cash management, liquidity, and adjacent solutions aligned to client priorities.
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution with onboarding/implementation, client service, operations, and risk to progress deals through completion.
  • Support Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, including new records and periodic renewals.
  • Ensure adherence to cross-border regulatory requirements and regional considerations when operating across locations.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate tracking, and portfolio oversight to drive timely execution.
  • Analyze portfolio data to surface trends and actionable growth ideas for coverage teams.
  • Own client issue escalation and lead remediation through resolution.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a corporate banking or coverage role.
  • Experience in corporate banking, treasury services, subsidiary banking, sales/coverage, onboarding/implementation, payments, client service, KYC, and/or portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of treasury/payments and adjacent solutions (e.g., cash management, transactional FX, trade), with the ability to learn and partner across product teams.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Analytical skills to perform portfolio reviews, size opportunities, and maintain pipeline discipline.
  • Proficiency with core productivity and reporting tools (e.g., Excel and MS Office).
  • Strong partnership mindset and integrity, with the ability to collaborate across geographies and time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work on-site five days per week.
