AVP Transaction Manager
Location:

What you'll do:
As the Transaction Manager, you'll act as the liaison between investors and internal business stakeholders such as traders, legal counsel, quality control, accounting, treasury and servicing departments. You'll be responsible for primary relationship management with investors, establish timelines for due diligence review and settlement deliverables.
  • Act as liaison between investors and internal business stakeholders such as traders, legal counsel, quality control, accounting, treasury and servicing departments.
  • Works closely with the Trading Desk to address any issues with mortgage loan allocations and trades to ensure prompt resolution of issues and timely settlements.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with investors whose trades the TM is managing; establish timelines for due diligence review and settlement deliverables.
  • Coordinate the negotiation non-disclosure agreements, trade confirmations and purchase and sale agreements related to whole loan sales and mortgage servicing rights sales transactions.
  • Monitor due diligence process to ensure adequate and timely resolution of investors' conditions and exceptions. Coordinate the execution of bailee letters and the shipment of collateral files to the investors' custodians.
  • Tie-out final funding population with investors and facilitate the settlement process including the repricing of the trade, execution of closing documentation, reviewing the funding schedule for accuracy, compiling mortgage loan schedule data, and communicating settlement funds to warehouse lenders and to the treasury department.
  • Coordinate servicing transfer process between the investors and the servicing department.
  • Serving as primary private label securitization (PLS) transaction manager responsible for the clearing of due diligence and data exceptions, preparing and finalizing data tapes and resolving collateral exceptions or other activities supporting PLS deals.

What you'll need:
  • 5+ years of related experience in Capital Markets Transaction Management or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in the residential mortgage industry with experience in Capital Markets transaction management, contract finance and due diligence.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel with ability to create ad hoc reports and analyses using functions such as nested formulas, lookups, pivot tables, etc..
  • Expert speaking and writing communication skills.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $121,870.00 - $150,546.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $121,870.00 - $150,546.00 for Irvine, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
