Any mortgage lender that commits at least 10% of its profits to helping the neighborhoods it serves is an Impact Lender.
At Movement, we are Impact Lenders. We give 40%-50% of our profits to making an impact in our communities. For us, purpose and people have always come before profit.

  • Review, validate, and reconcile trade confirmations, funding schedules, purchase advices, wire instructions, settlement statements, and servicing transfer documentation.
  • Manage trade-level economics and perform detailed analyses of pricing discrepancies, purchase advice variances, servicing adjustments, fees, penalties, and breakage calculations.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, Post-Closing, Accounting, Treasury, Servicing, Legal, and Compliance teams to remove purchase and settlement obstacles.
  • Monitor investor performance, settlement timelines, and counterparty metrics while identifying process improvement opportunities and operational risks.
  • Lead the resolution of complex loan-level defects, collateral exceptions, document deficiencies, trailing document issues, collateral shortfalls, and investor stipulations.
  • Review and interpret transaction agreements, delivery requirements, investor guides, and settlement documentation to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Drive process automation, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiencies across loan sales and servicing transactions.
  • Develop and maintain transaction management procedures, controls, workflow documentation, and reporting standards.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members while serving as a subject matter expert for transaction settlement activities.
  • Escalate material settlement, operational, financial, or counterparty risks to senior leadership with recommended solutions.
  • Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, servicing portfolio transactions, and other capital markets projects as assigned.

  • Advanced understanding of loan settlement processes, investor requirements, custodial procedures, collateral management, and funding mechanics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial and operational issues.
  • Proven ability to reconcile large datasets, purchase advices, trade settlements, and investor reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
