The Transformative Healthcare Group focuses on the middlemarket healthcare industry, providing traditional banking, capital raising, and advisory services to public and private healthcare companies with annual revenues generally ranging from $50 million to $2 billion. This group is a specialized team within the Global Commercial Bank. The Transformative Healthcare Group maintains a leadership position within the industry, manages numerous syndicated and capital marketsagented transactions, and works closely with Global Investment Banking. The team brings deep industry expertise and a comprehensive suite of solutions to support the complex financial needs of healthcare services and life sciences companies. Our client relationship teammates, located in the U.S. and around the globe, partner across our company to provide a wide range of financial services, integrated working capital management and treasury solutions, and underwriting and advisory services. Commercial Associates will develop foundational skills in financial analysis, client relationship support, and commercial banking operations that Bank of America delivers to our Commercial Banking clients.

Job Description:
This job is responsible for delivering analytical research and data-driven insights to support commercial banking client and prospect needs with banking and product partners. Key responsibilities include developing economic and market insights, industry analysis, pitchbooks, and relationship reviews that inform strategy, and providing support throughout interactions. Job expectations include leveraging data to tell stories, supporting internal idea generation and transaction execution, strengthening client engagement, and observing client interactions to build foundational knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the analysis of market and industry data to uncover insights for client/prospect meetings, pitch books, and relationship reviews

  • Collaborates with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and team members across the bank to help prepare client presentations and support client deals

  • Observes and supports the credit approval and treasury solutions processes to build knowledge of products, services, and related approval and packaging requirements

  • Supports the coordination of clients/prospects and partners from product and deal teams throughout the course of a transaction

  • Supports the delivery of new business analytics, monitors client activities, and performs portfolio optimization to identify and expand client relationships while maintaining and enhancing business opportunities

  • Understands and interprets financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends

  • Observes with domestic and international teammates including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management, and facilitates client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver financial solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of professional or business experience

  • Applies analytical thinking and financial modeling skills

  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and the ability to work independently

  • Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
