Position Overview

The Investment Associate – Trading plays a key role in supporting the firm's investment management process by implementing portfolio transactions and maintaining alignment with established equity and fixed income strategies. This position is responsible for executing trades, managing portfolio cash needs, supporting portfolio rebalancing efforts, and ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in portfolio management, trading operations, investment analysis, and wealth management. The position provides meaningful exposure to the firm's investment decision-making process, including opportunities to contribute to equity and investment research, interact with clients and advisors, and help enhance trading and portfolio management workflows as experience and expertise grow.

Key Responsibilities

· Execute securities transactions, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs, in accordance with investment strategy guidelines.

· Raise cash as needed to meet client distribution requests and other liquidity requirements.

· Facilitate transfers between investment, checking, savings, and other client accounts.

· Rebalance portfolios in response to client contributions or withdrawals, market movements, and changes in client risk profiles.

· Monitor trading activity to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with portfolio objectives.

· Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, firm policies, and industry best practices.

· Collaborate with investment professionals and operations teams to support efficient portfolio management and client service.

· Support investment research initiatives through market, industry, and company analysis as needed.

· Identify opportunities to improve trading, rebalancing, and portfolio management processes, and contribute recommendations that enhance efficiency, scalability, and execution quality.

Education & Experience

This is an entry-level position. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required. Coursework or experience in data analytics, financial modeling, or investment research is a plus.

Series 65 – Required or ability to obtain upon hiring
