Job description

Your future role at a glance

Location: Waukegan, IL 

Facility: Ascension The Harbor 

Department: Case Management 

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time | Monday - Friday 

Salary range: $77,163.89 - $104,397.87 per year 

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Operational Leadership: You manage daily staffing levels, handle admissions, and oversee case management to ensure the program meets financial and clinical targets.
  • Staff Development: As a supervisor, you are responsible for the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, and performing regular evaluations or progressive discipline when necessary.
  • Clinical Integrity: You provide direct patient care when needed, lead clinical crisis situations, and review documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and third-party payer regulations.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; some on- call required  
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Psychologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Must have a Master's Degree 
  • LCSW/LCPC licensure required
