• Engage directly with clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, both in virtual settings and when necessary, in the community.
• Establish a strong rapport with clients by demonstrating trustworthiness and advocating for their needs throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and team members to develop integrated care plans that ensure seamless access to linked services.
• Conduct brief, developmentally appropriate screenings and assessments to evaluate client needs and create tailored treatment approaches.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on client-identified goals, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Participate in crisis intervention as needed, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective support.
• Keep meticulous records and ensure timely submission of completed reports and data, contributing to continuity of care and compliance.
• Take part in ongoing training and supervision, enhancing your clinical skills and staying current with best practices within the field.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Tranquil Harmony Counseling, you will serve clients in a detox center who often grapple with substance abuse, mental health disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Your empathetic approach will be pivotal in supporting these individuals as they navigate their recovery journey, utilizing evidence-based methods that empower clients to achieve sustainable recovery and personal growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-licensure in a related healthcare or social service setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.

• Experience working in detox centers or with patients undergoing substance abuse treatment.
• Prior involvement in collaborative multidisciplinary care teams.
• Familiarity with community resources and service linkages suited for underserved populations.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
