Job description

Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group, is seeking to hire an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician with an expertise in servicing, repairing, and maintaining Industrial Process A/C equipment in and around the Greater Houston, TX area to include Brazoria County (Angleton, Clute, Freeport, Lake Jackson). Ideal candidate must have previous experience servicing package and split systems, wall mount systems, mini-split systems, and will need to manage healthy customer relationships, have professional and effective communication skills, be proactive in conflict resolution and be safety conscious.

Responsibilities:

  • Service knowledge of Trane and other OEM A/C equipment
  • Will be required to perform preventive maintenance; log machine, wash coils, change belts and filters
  • Perform maintenance contract inspections and annuals
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to mechanical failures, air flow issues, and refrigeration issues
  • Able to replace motors, compressors, bearings, and system change outs
  • Startup and shutdown of A/C equipment
  • Maintain daily paperwork and provide written logs to customers

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with a safe driving record (no violations within the past 3 years)
  • Tech certifications and Factory training from other OEM's is a plus
  • Must have a strong systems knowledge of Airside and Refrigeration cycles
  • Knowledge of pressurization systems is a plus

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience servicing Trane or other OEM A/C equipment
  • Universal EPA refrigerant certification
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
