What you will do:

  • Provide on-demand and scheduled remote technical support services for Key Accounts customers in a technical service environment.

  • Perform remote Building Automation System (BAS) diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, and equipment startup support.

  • Remotely inspect and evaluate BAS, HVAC, and chiller systems, delivering detailed reports on system operation and issue identification.

  • Communicate via telephone, instant messaging, and email with onsite Trane and third-party BAS and mechanical technicians, customers, customer representatives, and Trane internal teams.

  • Participate in technical and strategic account reviews with internal stakeholders.

  • Identify parts needed for repairs and coordinate with relevant teams for procurement.

What you will bring:

  • Solid understanding and hands-on service or installation experience with Trane HVAC systems and advanced Trane BAS controls.

  • Proficiency in performing remote BAS diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance.

  • Expertise in TGE, TGP, and TGP2 abilities and application guides.

  • Advanced systems knowledge and proficiency in using digital tools.

  • Knowledge of networking, communication protocols, security, and basics of Ensemble, SQL Database, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

  • Self-driven with the ability to effectively prioritize work in a queue.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with individuals across various controls and mechanical skill levels, from laypersons to highly skilled technicians.

  • Excellent process adherence and documentation skills for completing job paperwork, including time, progress, and cost data.

  • Ability to effectively function in a remote team environment, provide coaching and support for others as necessary, provide and accept constructive feedback, and a willingness to help others and grow by taking on new challenges.

  • A growth mindset to stay current on new products and identify and recommend system enhancements.

  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.

  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
