Job description

Chandler and Campbelle Investment Group

Palm Tran Intermodal Transit Center

Chandler and Campbelle Investment Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Transit Facility Cleaner to support cleaning and maintenance operations at the Palm Tran Intermodal Transit Center. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for passengers, bus operators, and visitors throughout the facility. This includes detailed cleaning of restrooms, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, replenishing supplies, and ensuring bathrooms remain in excellent condition throughout the day. You will also maintain all common areas—including lobbies, seating areas, walkways, and surrounding outdoor grounds—by removing trash, cleaning pathways, and responding to cleanliness needs as they arise.

The Transit Facility Cleaner follows a daily cleaning schedule while remaining flexible to handle immediate cleaning needs or special requests. You will be responsible for promptly reporting any maintenance issues or needed repairs to your supervisor to ensure a safe and functional transit environment. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, proper use of chemicals and cleaning equipment, and compliance with all company and Palm Tran standards. The position is physically demanding and requires bending, lifting, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation to and from the Palm Tran Intermodal Transit Center is required.

Employees must wear black pants, company-issued uniform shirts, and a safety vest at all times to ensure safety and maintain a professional appearance. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to cleanliness are essential for success in this position.
