Job description

Training Director

The Training Director connects our beloved Team Members to our Vision: We exist to be a place where people are restored.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures excellence in the new Team Member experience
  • Communicates with Trainees, follows along with their development, and ensures a smooth experience throughout the Training Process
  • Leads the team of Training Captains, ensuring they are activated and effective on each shift
  • Ensures every Team Member advances healthfully through Training and advances appropriately within the organization
Accountability & Support
  • The Training Director is a member of the Director team (working toward Executive Director, Talent and Executive Leadership Team)
  • Reporting to: This position reports directly to Cole McKenna, Restaurant Executive Director for Chick-fil-A Lenexa
  • Leading: This position leads the Training Captain Team
  • This position works 35+ hours per week, with a mix of operational shifts and administrative work
  • Closed Sundays
  • All members of the ELT are supported with access to Counseling, Spiritual Direction, and a Gym Membership at Lifetime Fitness (or choice of fitness facility)
