Your Mission:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support the development of training documentation for restaurant operations, new products, and equipment used across a global QSR environment. This role requires a strong writing and editing background, sound judgment, and the ability to work with incomplete inputs. The Technical Writer partners closely with R&D, operations, and cross-functional teams to translate complex procedures into clear,accurate, and usable documentation for different audiences. AI-assisted tools may be used to support drafting and revision, with full responsibility for content accuracy and qualityremainingwith the writer.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Create clear,accurate, and user-focused documentation for restaurant operations, new products, new procedures, and equipment launches.
  • Develop documentation across multiple formats, including job helpers, guides, manuals, video scripts, and online resources.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, R&D, and operations teams to understand process intent, equipment functionality, and operational constraints.
  • Analyze procedures received from subject matter experts,identifymissing or unclear information, and proactively apply institutional knowledge and direct author collaboration to resolve gaps and produce complete,accuratedocumentation.
  • Review workflows, systems, and operational materials to ensure documentation reflects real-world execution.
  • Attend and activelyparticipateinon-sitephoto and video shootstoobserveprocedures as performed andvalidateaccuracy of sequencing, details, and execution.
  • Apply documentation standards, terminology guidelines, and formatting conventions consistently across all materials.
  • Use AI-assisted tools whenappropriate tosupport drafting and refinement, while independentlyvalidatingall content.
  • Maintain organized, version-controlled documentation within established repositories.
  • Collaborate cross-functionallyto supportnew initiatives, updates, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree ina technicaldiscipline, technical communication, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a technical writing role, withdemonstratedability to produce end-user-friendly process documentation.
  • Strong writing, editing, and comprehension skills, with the ability to translate complex or incomplete information into clear, usable documentation.
  • Proven ability to work independently, apply judgment, and proactively resolve ambiguity.
  • Experience evaluating and validating content for accuracy, including AI-assisted outputs.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft applications and web-based platforms.
  • Strong organizational, research, andproject-managementskills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to travel asrequiredand adhere to corporate travel policies.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience ina QSR, food service, operations, or equipment-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with process documentation, SOP development, or training enablement.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarilyoffice-based work environment.
