Job description

  • Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program
  •  Perform and document LiveFit services with residents following company’s policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director.
  •  Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s LiveFit program and completes required billing and documentation.
  •  Deliver LiveFit treatment plans in accordance with Legacy’s programs. Fitness plans will be developed to improve health, fitness levels, and meet the members’ fitness goals.
  •  Provide group fitness and wellness services through our LiveFit Program.
  • Meets efficiency standard as set by company.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population.  The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy’s program structure.  The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • College graduate preferred with bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
  • Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
  • Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
  • Previous experience with senior population desirable.
  • Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
  • CPR/AED Certification must be current and
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
