IRISS is a global market leader in electrical maintenance safety and reliability solutions. From our headquarters in Bradenton, Florida, we develop innovative products, technologies, and training programs that help organizations improve safety, reliability, and operational performance.

As IRISS continues its exceptional international growth, we are expanding our global training capability. This is a long-term career opportunity with the potential to progress into a senior training, technical, or global leadership role.

The Opportunity

The Training Manager will develop and deliver engaging technical training for customers, distributors, employees, and industry partners.

Training subjects will include:

· Infrared thermography and inspection

· Industrial ultrasound

· Partial discharge monitoring

· Electrical safety and reliability

· Condition-based maintenance

· IRISS products, applications, and solutions

The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with the ability to turn complex subjects into clear, practical, and memorable learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver classroom, virtual, and field-based technical training.

· Conduct practical demonstrations of infrared, ultrasound, partial discharge, and related technologies.

· Develop and update presentations, course materials, practical exercises, and assessments.

· Adapt training programs for different industries, experience levels, and customer requirements.

· Support customers with equipment operation, applications, troubleshooting, and interpretation of results.

· Serve as an escalation point for complex technical questions.

· Represent IRISS at customer sites, conferences, seminars, and industry events.

· Work closely with sales, engineering, product development, marketing, and service teams.

· Gather customer feedback to improve IRISS products, services, and training programs.

· Support the development of new courses, workshops, certifications, and digital learning.

· Help train and mentor future instructors as the global training organization expands.

· Ensure training activities meet applicable safety, quality, and company standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

· At least five years of relevant experience in technical training, electrical maintenance, field service, condition monitoring, reliability, or a related discipline.

· Strong working knowledge of infrared thermography and industrial ultrasound.

· Experience delivering technical training, demonstrations, or customer presentations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

· A professional, customer-focused approach.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.

· Willingness to travel throughout North America and internationally.

Preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, reliability engineering, education, or a related field.

· Infrared thermography or industrial ultrasound certification.

· Knowledge of partial discharge monitoring technologies.

· Experience with electrical distribution equipment, manufacturing, utilities, critical power, or data centers.

· Familiarity with condition-based maintenance, electrical safety, and asset reliability standards.

· Experience developing structured technical courses or assessments.

We recognize that outstanding candidates do not always follow a traditional career path. If you have strong technical expertise, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire others, we encourage you to apply.

Who Will Succeed at IRISS?

You are technically credible, naturally curious, and passionate about developing people. You are equally comfortable presenting to a classroom, demonstrating equipment in the field, and helping a customer solve a difficult technical problem.

You do more than deliver presentations, you create understanding, build confidence, and inspire action.

You will thrive at IRISS if you:

· Are energized by innovation, growth, and change.

· Communicate technical information clearly and enthusiastically.

· Take ownership and follow through on commitments.

· Enjoy working with different industries and cultures.
