We are currently seeking candidates for our hospital Nursing Assistant Training Program! Upon completion of the training program, you will transition into a nursing assistant role at the hospital. The program will prepare you to become a nursing assistant by teaching you the fundamentals of patient care, developing clinical competency in areas such as patient transfers, infection control, activities of daily living, signs and symptoms of various diagnoses, and medical terminology. You will learn to use medical equipment such as vital sign machines, glucometers, transfer equipment, and will receive hands on training at our acute rehabilitation hospital.
The Nursing Assistant position is an excellent entry-level role providing a pathway into the healthcare field. Our hospital offers a career ladder program for individuals looking to progress as nursing assistants. This training program provides an excellent baseline of skills for those looking to someday go into nursing or medicine.
