What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Life Enrichment Program: Develop and oversee a daily calendar of engaging group and individualized activities that reflect our LifeCycles wellness philosophy across Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Drive Resident Engagement: Personally welcome new residents and create individualized activity profiles in LifeLoop® based on interests, history, and preferences.
  • Foster Team Connection: Inspire staff and volunteers to participate in and support activities, creating a sense of community and purpose.
  • Plan & Promote Events: Organize special events, themed celebrations, outings, and digital activity updates via newsletters and social media.
  • Support Team Leadership: Supervise Life Enrichment team members, train new hires, and promote collaboration across departments.
  • Coordinate Resident Transportation: Schedule and oversee safe outings, ensuring staff are trained to drive and collaborate with maintenance and front desk teams.
  • Operate with Excellence: Manage the activity budget, evaluate program success using surveys and feedback, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing: Partner with Sales to enhance community events and support marketing initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Passion for seniors and a desire to create meaningful, joyful experiences.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office, activity management platforms, and social media.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s or other dementias is preferred for Memory Care programs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Recreational Therapy, Education, or related field preferred
  • <50 residents: 6 months of activity experience or enrollment in Life Enrichment training program.
  • >50 residents: 1 year of activity experience, including evaluation and supervision responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to drive a passenger van.
  • Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and Manager on Duty rotation.
