We are seeking a Program Coordinator to support our Readers in Training (RIT), Books & Buddies (B&B), and Breakfast and Snack Time with Books (BWB/STWB) programs. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, passionate about early childhood education, and enjoys working directly with families and children.Position Summary Support literacy programs (Readers in Training, Books and Buddies, and Breakfast/Snack Time with Books) through coordination, communication, and administrative tasks to ensure successful engagement with families and schools.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesReaders in Training Program SupportMonitor and respond to emails and telephone inquiries regarding program enrollmentHelp prepare and mail books monthly to enrolled families Prepare playgroup materials and facilitate family Plan and attend playgroups in Nevada counties, including Nye County Facilitate communication between program staff and familiesSend program surveys to participants and provide regular status updates Lead planning and execution of the annual Readers in Training Resource FairWork with the Program Manager to provide families with targeted resources and speakersSupport internal and external communication regarding the RIT program Monitor supply inventory and assist with the supply purchasing planWork with appropriate Spanish translation resources, ensuring all families have equal access to materialsAttend and participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the RIT team Books and Buddies Program SupportFacilitate Books and Buddies sessions at participating schools, as neededAssist with the creation and translation of Books and Buddies program materialsBreakfast and Snack Time with Books Program SupportFacilitate Breakfast and Snack Time with Books sessions, providing engaging read-aloud sessions to families at participating schoolsAssist with the creation and translation of BWB/STWB program materials Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Program Manager or Director of Programs related to the fundamental aspects of the RIT, B&B, and BWB/STWB programs.
