Description
Job Purpose: The AIT is responsible for assisting the golf course superintendent and assistants with the maintenance, operation and management of the golf course on a daily basis.
Duties:
  • Assist in the supervision and training of the golf course maintenance staff in various required tasks on a daily basis.
  • The proper mixing, disposal, and application of fertilizers and pesticides based on Superintendent's agronomic program.
  • Assist in the storage and record keeping of pesticides, fertilizers, and soil amendments.
  • Successfully managing and completing projects that are assigned by the Superintendent and Assistants.
  • Assist Superintendent and Assistants with any golf course related duties at any time.
  • Assist in daily course setup and conditioning.

Requirements
  • Previous Internship experience required.
  • Two- or Four-year turf related degree
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Salary Description
$20/hr and housing
