Position Overview

The Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to develop future leaders within our sales organization. This hands-on opportunity provides valuable experience in sales leadership, customer relationship management, business development, and team leadership while preparing you for advancement into management roles.

What You'll DoSales & Customer Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Managers and key customer accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
  • Convert competitor business and expand existing accounts
  • Negotiate pricing and prepare sales agreements
  • Ensure accounts are maintained according to company policies and standards
Leadership & Management Development
  • Gain hands-on experience managing projects and priorities
  • Analyze business challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Participate in ongoing leadership and professional development training
  • Assist with team development, coaching, and performance management
  • Learn all aspects of sales and operational leadership
Team Collaboration
  • Partner with multiple departments to achieve business goals
  • Represent Pepsi MidAmerica professionally within the community
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and fellow team members
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
