Job description

Sales & Business Development โ€” AI Training & Consulting

AIcene is a new Los Angeles-based AI training and technology company helping businesses understand, adopt, and implement artificial intelligence.

We are looking for an energetic Sales & Business Development professional to help us build our initial client base and grow the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is comfortable reaching out to companies, developing relationships, and turning conversations into booked engagements.

What You'll Be Selling

AIcene is initially focused on corporate AI training, including:

  • AI and generative AI fundamentals
  • ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini and other leading AI tools
  • AI productivity for business teams
  • AI for software developers and technical teams
  • AI agents and agentic workflows
  • Custom AI workshops tailored to individual companies

Our broader business also includes:

AIcene Training โ€” Corporate AI education and workshops

AIcene Development โ€” Custom AI applications, software and AI agents

AIcene Integration โ€” Helping companies integrate AI, automation and eventually robotics into their operations

Training engagements can therefore lead to larger consulting, development and integration opportunities.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be generating and closing new business.

You'll identify prospective companies, contact decision-makers through LinkedIn, email and other channels, introduce AIcene's services, qualify opportunities, arrange meetings, follow up with prospects, and help turn interested companies into paying clients.

You'll also help us learn which industries, company sizes, training programs and sales messages generate the strongest response.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in someone who:

  • Has experience in B2B sales, business development or corporate training sales
  • Is comfortable prospecting and contacting companies directly
  • Communicates professionally with executives and business leaders
  • Is comfortable using LinkedIn for prospecting and relationship building
  • Has an interest in AI and emerging technology
  • Is self-directed and comfortable working with an early-stage business
  • Is motivated by performance-based compensation

You don't need to be an AI engineer. We'll provide the technical expertise and help you understand the services you're selling.

Compensation

This is initially a commission-based independent sales opportunity, with compensation tied directly to business you generate.

You'll earn a percentage of revenue from engagements you help bring to AIcene.

Because this is an early-stage company, the right person will have an opportunity to grow with the business as we expand our training, development and AI integration services.

About AIcene

We believe businesses are entering a new technological eraโ€”the AIceneโ€”in which artificial intelligence will increasingly become part of everyday business operations.

Our goal is to help organizations make that transition through practical education, software development and AI integration.

Location: Los Angeles, California / Remote

Industry: Artificial Intelligence, Corporate Training, Software Development & Consulting
