Nisga'a CIOPS delivers cleared professionals to support civilian and DoD customers worldwide across intelligence support, cyber/defensive cyber operations, IT O&M, infrastructure modernization, training, and logistics.
Summary:
The Training Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering formal and informal training programs related to criminal and administrative indexing across the Department of the Air Force (DAF). This role ensures AFCJIC personnel and supported functional communities maintain consistent, compliant, and repeatable indexing practices at the Subject Matter Expert (SME) level.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Development of formal/informal training regarding criminal and administrative indexing for the DAF.
  • Develop AFCJIC specific training programs, presentations and artifacts (training guides, lesson plans, training aids, knowledge checks, etc.) for newly hired and current personnel to ensure consistent and repeatable process to ensure AFCJIC teams are operating at the required Subject Matter Expert (SME) level.
  • Digest, assess, and develop training programs incorporating law, policy, and procedures from all functional components (law enforcement and legal) regarding criminal and administrative indexing for guided and self-paced training opportunities and requirements for all levels within functional lines integral to reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with and develop training for other DAF agencies responsible for notifications to AFCJIC facilitating criminal and administrative indexing actions.
  • Schedule/conduct ad hoc and recurring indexing training with all pertinent DAF entities.
  • Develop, review, and conduct virtual and in-person training to Indexing Compliance Managers across the DAF regarding indexing policy, procedures, and processes.
  • Integrate training development efforts into established functional training courses for law enforcement and legal personnel.
  • Plan and Schedule training. Training may be conducted at the government facility or a designated contractor training facility. The contractor must ensure the facility can support 10 - 12 training sessions per year with 25 people per session. Each session will be 5 days long.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of common criminal justice system terminology and processes.
  • Expertise in instructional design and training development, including lesson plans, training guides, and learning aids.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience developing and delivering training for adult learners and 3 years' experience either as a sworn law enforcement officer or other similar criminal justice experience.
  • Experience or other qualifications will not be accepted in lieu of the required degree.
  • Must have a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field
